Well yesterday I went on an amazing trail ride with some friends. It was so much fun. We went down a really steep hill. Probably the steepest hiil Poor Fen has ever gone down. He was huffing and puffing. I was so proud of him after though! He definitly got some extra horse cookies! Anyway after that I went home and watched Little People Big World with Robby. I love that show! Then I went into work for a half shift.
Today I had a half shift at work, but in the morning (6:30am-10:30am). I love that shift, it goes by so freaking fast! It was a pretty slow morning at work. Not too many dogs came for boarding. But we had the usual amount for daycare. I noticed something funny though, all the dogs there today were all female! Then that changed when Blue the weimeraner pup showed up. He was definitly in heavan with all those females! And he did not have to share with any other boys ;-).
Anyway apparently When I left this morning I did not close the front door all the way...When Robby picked me up He told me that he woke up and found Panda OUTSIDE of our door. Luckily for us he did not wander far. He probably was too scared to be so far away from the food bowl. So I guess I need to be more careful. I learn something new everyday.
So Tomorrow I start the first day of my apprenticeship to be a horse trainer/riding instructor. I am so exited! My first day will definitly be a long day. I really hope that I will be able to handle my kennel job and this at the same time. I would love to quit and just focus on the apprenticeship But I need the money!
I will let y'all know what happens tomorrow.
Nighty Night.
I have two goofy dogs, a energetic but sweet horse, a larger than life miniature horse and a loving boyfriend that ties it all together. This blog is about all the animal adventures in my life. Anything from my own animals, to the ones I care for with my Pet sitting/dog walking business. It will also be about the ups and downs of my own life, fighting thyroid disease and trying to lose the weight I gained beacause of it.

Please Stick to Your Own Kind!
Well work was insane as usual today. I was in Doggy daycare for over four hours today. I think that is my record. Now normally being in daycare is my absolute favorite thing. For multiple reasons:
1. I love playing with all the dogs
2. When I am in the yard my boss can not come in and bother me (since I need to focus on the dogs.
3. It is really awesome getting to know each of the dogs personalities.
4. My boss can not bother me
5. It keeps me active and moving running around
6. MY BOSS CAN NOT BOTHER ME
7. I love being the "leader" of the pack
So yeah those are my main reasons lol. As you can see, one of the perks is that my boss can not be in my face. He usually never knows I am in there lol. So anyway I normally throw myself in there any chance I get. Im lucky because not very many people at my work like going to daycare. So I get first choice. Anyway today was another story. There were so many freaking crazy pups there today! They nearly drove me insane! First off there is this little German Shephard name Fenway. She is cute as heck but very annoying! She always tries to attack my shoes and eat the water hose. And apparently she lacks fiber in her diet because she was eating the bushes! Then there is Charlie, a litte pitbull pup. He is such a little brat. Always biting other dogs necks. He decided it would be fun to hump my leg. Then Mulligan a Golden retriver pup thought it would be fun and joined in with my other leg. Well five minutes later Monty, a Bernese Mountain dog, decided that he wanted a turn and began humping my leg also. Why can't they just stick to their own kind! Im just glad they were not giving a tour at the time this was going on..
Finally my shift ended and I was off to the ranch. It was a short trip. I took Fen for a quick ride around the block then I gave him his supplements and headed home. Of course there were a few hugs a long the way. Fen really likes it that I come everyday. I can see that he is much more happier. I never get tired of looking at that gorgeous horse.
Well I am off to bed. Early ride in the morning.
Toodles!

I am the Lone Ranger
Lately where I live it has been over a hundred degrees every freaking day! I checked the weather report before I went to work and it said it would not be over 90 degrees! Yeah this means I can actually ride Fen in the day light! I had work today, but it was only a half day (6:30 am to 10:30 am) So when I done with work I went home, grabbed a bite to eat and headed to the ranch. I did not get ivited to ride with anyone So I ventured out on my own. I am still unfamiliar with the trails So I stuck to the ones I knew and still managed to get lost lol. But Fen was a good boy as usual! I saw some jogs laying on the ground and could not resist a little bit of jumping practice. That went very well. I overall had fun but It is lonely riding out on the trail. I am used to being around people all the time. I am still sort of the new kid in town So I guess I got to earn people's respect before then invite me to ride with them. Oh well. I ended up going home early.
Hopefully I have something more interesting to report tomorrow.
Tata for now!

IM BACK!
Hey Y'all!
I think it has been about 5 or six months since i have posted anything on this blog. I miss writing on it so I am back for good. I have a lot of new things going on in my life. And the blog is the perfect way to document what happens. Plus I love posting about the crazy things my animals do! Let me catch you up to speed on whats going on with me.
First off there have been some major things going on at my kennel job. I have had a new boss for about four months now. And let me tell you WE DO NOT GET ALONG! (note: the all caps lol). Anyway my old boss got fired for things that are unmentionable. I had a pretty good working relationship with him. I may have gotten crapy shifts but at least we got along and he made it tolerable. Anyway me new boss have never gotten along. You see, at my job there are three major deparments that make the kennel run. Boarding, Grooming, and Wellness (water therapy, massages, ect.). Anyway I work in the back dealing with the boarding dogs and the general care of all dogs in the facility. Back then my current boss just worked in the training department. We would pass each other in the hall way once in a while but nothing more. But one day he had the nerve to pull me aside and tell me that I am not good with the dogs, I got really irritated with him and rolled my eyes and walked away, Well I guess that hurt his feelings or something becuase he went and told on me like he was a little child or something. I got in trouble of course. But whatever I didn't care because we did not work directly together. Well now HE is my boss and he is making my life a living hell! He is always changing my schedule every week so I can never make any plans. And he is constantly harrassing me and telling me that I am doing my job wrong. If the owner of the kennel didn't like me so much I bet He would have had me fired. Even though there is no valid reason as I am always on time and have filled in for people whenever they call in sick. Just being a flexible all around good person. Anyway I want to quit so badly!!!! But I can not do this as I would have no money. And no money equals no horse! so that is not an option. Which leads me to my next point.....
Since the time I was twelve I have had one dream. To be a great horse trainer/riding instructor. It has been my dream for such a long time and I would have given anything for it. Exept that there really is not any kind of schooling available for it. You really do not need training for this and as long as you know about horses you can basically do it, But this is not good enough for me. I want to learn from somebody who has experience in the horse industry So that I have the knowlege and a good reference. But this kind of thing usually cost thousands of dollars. Well I have an amazing oppurtunity to work with a fantastic horse trainer/riding instructor. At no cost. I will exchange doing barn chores and helping out around the ranch for her teaching. I really think this is the key to my future. My "mentor" told me she thinks I have a natural gift with horses and that if I polish that a bit it can turn into something incredible. When I head that My heart jumped for joy! So I dropped from full time to part time at my kennel job so I can obtain my dream! So we will see if I can handle my kennel job and this apprenticeship. I am really exited that I am on the right track to my dream!
I also finally moved Fen to a new boarding facility in Chatsworth. I got tired only seeing him once maybe twice a week.
And we all can not forget my crazy cats. Panda celebrated his one year birthday (or what we believe is his birthday) the first of September. He has gotten a litte bit bigger but is still pretty small for his age. He is supper annoying though. Always in my face and always REALLY annoying. He gets into everything! But I love him to pieces!

And we can not forget Sundace. He is still fat and he still likes to eat and sleep all day lol. He is Such a daddy's boy, HE loves Robby to death. He only likes me when I get him treats lol. But He has a special place in my heart.

And last but not least of the cats, there is my baby girl, KT. She is still as cute as every and still very shy. I really love her very much and must admit that if I had to choose a favorite out of the three it would be her (shhhh don't tell the boys)lol.

And then there is Fen. He is seriously the love of my life. He is what motivated me to make my dreams of becoming a horse trainer/riding instructor finally happen. He is seriously the best horse in the world, well at least in my eyes. in these short months he has changed so much, all for the good. He is riding better than ever and is learning to trust people again. He is so outgoing now! we are currently working on some basic arena work and jumping! yeah you heard me JUMPING! he can do it! I never thought he would be able to since he is blind in one eye. But he proved to me he can! we are also going to start training for the cowboy race, actually a friend of mine is going to train with me. I will definitly blog about all of his progress. I love my Fenny boy!

Robby and I are doing great. He has really stuck by me through all of these tough times these past few months. We have been together for over two years YAY! We are both going to go for our dreams no matter what!

Y'all will be hearing from me.
